The concept is not designed for fighters of that calibre anton and u know that by reading the posts. Just keep being petty i have on idea why u do this. U claim to love the sport but shoot any idea thats not your own down. It may or may not succeed but atleast people are trying to build the sport up again. When boxing dies what will u do mate find an mma site to post on. Come on if u dont agree with idea or think it wont work thats fine we all have and are entitled to our opinions but no need to constantly be petty and belittle others ideas who have done so much more in this sport than u or even i could dream of doing

I can't read what that fornicate wit 'Da Goose' has written, Stus, as I have him on ignore. As far as I can tell, and I have it on good authority, he is a bitter old 'confirmed bachelor', you know the type, would rather watch two men punch each other around the ring instead of watch the fights, would rather bite his pillow instead of chew a steak and wash it down with a nice red.....

I had lunch with an old mate and sparring partner today, Dale Westerman, and ran the idea by him, he was neither positive nor negative and said the idea wont last, he is right, it won't, nothing ever does, but if this idea lasts for a few years, say four or five, it will increase the pool of pro fighters available, increase the number of shows therefore increasing the number of fights in a period of time, hence increasing the experience of more local pros, increase the number of people going to watch the fights and have a flow on effect of increasing the number of people heading to boxing gyms to train etc ......

I agree dale the idea may not last but it will only help and bring us more boxers and more fights. As for old anton i had a go at him once on this forum and have decided to not bother anymore. The bloke knows his boxing no doubt but the way u described him is the same as many i know have. He is entitled to his opinions and lifestyle so i wont bag him. But the amount of people we both friends with through this great sport have told me he is nothin but a germ. I will always judge a man as i find him so cant pass judgement on him yet but many better men then me have told me what he is and what he is about. How is the knee mate anyway forgot to ask

Yeah mate, it is coming along, still training and on track with the weight. The leg is getting stronger by the day, although I have started prolotherapy and it hurts like all fornicate, even a couple of days later, but it is supposed to settle down the stress to and preserve the cartilage whilst my leg gets stronger, I won't be out of action for too long. I'm glad I've had something like this to kick my arse into gear, injuries aside, as I'd forgotten how good being this fit feels.

I hope you are doing well and look forward to catching up with you at Murry's next show, we can discuss th PBU (yes it is more like a league, well put Marlin) over a soda water :TU:

The idea will never get off the ground. Victorians (Mexicans) are known dreamers with ideas which had never eventuated.
