Enzo can't take a big punch anymore. Tony has a good punch at Lhw and he'd hurt Enzo.

please tell me your talking about a different enzo than the one i'm thinking of.

maccaranelli is a cruiserweight, but more importantly, he should never fight again if he values his health.

i was a big fan, but i really worry the guys going to get seriously hurt.

You do know that coming down in weight does not necessarily mean you will be more effective, a bigger puncher or more likely to take the punches. In truth, doing this means the exact opposite. Your much more vunerable, not more effective.

To think Enzo, dropping a few pounds will right what is already wrong, is crazy. He will be even less dangerous and more likely to get sparked. Time will tell, but i am pretty sure i am right.
Your argument is correct but Tony is a Huge LH and this logic also applies to him. Enzo has made the weight easily, I think staying at LH for Tony is a struggle and is the reason he has been dropped so often. I still think it would be a good fight and have Enzo winning.
Absolutely right.Tony even said in the interview after the Ajisafe fight,"i didnt think i could do the distance at Cruiser",or words to that effect. That suggests a hell of a lot of draining,as does his weight for years in the amateurs.Anyone who has followed Enzo's career knows he has always walked around at around the Cruiser limit.I reckon they are naturally similar sizes with Enzo being the bigger puncher.Who knows how good Tony will be,we will find out when he gets to Euro level, but he has struggled with a lot less accomlished fighters than Enzon recently.

Enzo looked world class until Frenkel knocked him out, so he can still fight, it's just his chin that lets him down. I think he is a better fighter than Toney (no offense bomber) but it's hard to say how this fight would go without knowing how the move down impacts Enzo, and if he still has confidence after being knocked out so brutally.

True, well confidence then!Ive always had this fear that il crack someone as hard as i can and it wont have any impact on them and then they'll beat me half to death!Ha.Not a good way of being actually.
With this in mind surely you should stop typing the Cr*p you type towards pro boxers?

I find both men very similar fighters I'd love to see it

Enzo hits a little harder and has a hell of a lot more big fight experience.

Although Tony is no mug in any department and punches very hard he also seems to have the ability to mop himself off the canvas and have the heart and brains to get himself back in a fight.

I can't pick a winner for this one atm

A real fans kinda fight though.

Enzo'll be weak as a kitten at light-heavy, he won't bring power down with him at this stage in his career. Bellew early.

When do we get to see Big Macc fight at light heavy? I can't predict this fight properly unless I know what Maccarinelli is like.

The last thing Mac needs is to drop down a weight and immediately get in with a guy who seems to bang as hard as any cruiser. It would be awful match making.

Great for neutrals, but not for those of us who don't want to see him laid out on the canvas again. He's had several sickening KOs to deal with already, and I fear this would be another one.

A peak Enzo would beat Bellew but he's had several hidings now and should steer clear of powerful bangers like Tony IMO.

Bellew should be aiming for Clev, though I agree this would be a great scalp for him.

I hope it doesn't happen tbh.

Have to say Lefty, you didn't do yourself any favours there. I haven't been on too often of late but the general view of you seems to have gone from you being a well intentioned but naive poster, to being a complete arse-nibbling knob head.

All of enzo's knockouts have been by massive punchers, but then you cant discount ovill mckenzie's power. That guy can bang. Personally, i think it could be a world title fight as both are good enough to be on that level. Enzo has more power, and experience. But id say that Bellew has come through adversity before, has more well rounded boxing skills and is hungry for it. If bellew goes down, history suggests he will get back up and carry on but if enzo goes down history will mean hes finished and on top of that no ref would even risk letting him continue after he's gone down after the events of his last fight

Enzo said he's done the weight in the gym and felt strong if he's telling the truth i could see him clearing up at light heavy i think he hits to hard for Bellow but i just think why didn't he do light heavy years back ????

Spot on. Bellew's been down, but i've never seen him look wobbly. Enzo has never been anywhere near 175 professionally. I can't see him retaining his power.

Bellew by brutal ko.
I saw enzo at the last prizefighter and he had a neck like an ostrich, looked very drawn.
Bellews honey punch is the left hook and when it lands it's all over for enzo.

I really like Enzo as a person, he comes across as very humble (unlike most talented boxers over last 18 months) but time is definately up, no matter what weight he is at. He looked so frail and ill at the prizefighter, but if he still thinks he can go for one last hurrah, then i really hope it works for him.
