Yep, that's pricey but can easily seeing all 10,000 go in the ballot - this is the Olympics we're talking about! Hope I'm wrong and get a ticket for the boxing final!gobbles wrote:£20 is cheap, but the cheapest tickets for the finals are £90.MacTavish wrote:How is £20 not cheap??? Can't see boxing selling out in the original ballot as there are 10,000 tickets per session and it's not cheap.

To be fair the corporate wankers have put in millions and millions through sponsorship and most celebs will be guests of the corporate wankers, so they can say they sat near to ..... as the sport is not enough for them.MachoMan09 wrote:Agree with CB. Two things are guaranteed: touts will be selling tickets (real and counterfeit) and celebs & corporate wankers who don't give a tuppeny fcuk about sport and won't have even heard of the ballot system will have all the best seats at the most popular events.

Finals are split into two (or three if you include the women's finals).

Just out of interest - how did you get the figure of 10,000 - is this based on the opening up 2 halls and combining them at the Excel? Thought other events e.g. Ping pong, weightlifting would be using up the other areas so imagine the capacity to be more like 5,000 for the boxing.gobbles wrote:You've got until April 26 to get into the original ballot. Applied for boxing and gymnastics (missus loves it) so we'll see. Pretty pricey but as someone mentioned, it's to be expected sadly
