Should be a good fight! Stuey Hall has improved so much over tge past few months, the first time I seen him he looked very average but has really come on leaps and bounds since then with his wins over Davies, Power x2. He really looks a top domestic fighter and deserves his Lonsdale belt! Him and McDonnell would be a cracker!!

Just booked my ticket for this, didn't realize it was on at Rainton Meadows, looking forward to seeing how Glenn Foot is progressing.tear up wrote:bantam weight british title fight comin who win s if hall win s he keeps a well earned lonsdale belt first ever champion from darlington i side with hall only seen donelly once his first loss but thought he was doin great![]()
Why isn't Travis Dickinson fighting? I seen he was on the fight poster but isn't scheduled to fight here on boxrec.

I really like Glen Foot, good win over Dee Mitchell in his last fight and from all accounts he was really made to work for it! Watson-Place should be quite a good one as well, Watson looked half decent against Johannson

Hall wins this one and moves on to Commonweath or EBU title.

Move on to the Commonwealth, the British is better then the Commonwealth... Like to see him and Jamie McDonnell the all 3 Titles would be on the line.... would be a great fight..
Re: hall v donelly
Jamie says that Stuey isnt on his level & isnt going to meet him. But if Stuey keeps winning he will have no option.Londonirish wrote:THEBUTCH wrote:Hall wins this one and moves on to Commonweath or EBU title.

From British you move onto EBU, makes Hall bang on Levels, if i thought that XXX was'nt on the same Level as me and they wanted the fight and the fight could be made ID be jumping at it, id be looking at it as an easy Defence....

A good fight, but could do with some stronger undercard support really.

Re: hall v donelly
I saw Hall's debut in the Engineers Club in Darlo, Martin. I love watching debutants as you never know if you're seeing a future star. He did OK from memory but certainly didn't stand out as being a future champ. He's come on a ton.Londonirish wrote:alexpaterson wrote:Should be a good fight! Re: hall v donelly
The Main event is OK- a decent and well matched British title fight. I think we can say that it will, at least, be a good fight- two Brits fighting for the British title always produces something worth watching. (Nearly always, anyway...!)Horse wrote:The main event is pretty weak as well as the undercard.the truth wrote:Poor undercard where's Jeffries, Dickinsons ,and all other northeast fighters ?whicker wrote:A good fight, but could do with some stronger undercard support really.
But with virtually nothing else to note on the card, I'm not sure the show is worth going to or staying in to watch on TV.
That said - the undercard bouts are between quite inexperienced boxers, they usually make for decent scraps when watched at the venue. But not really great for TV.

i think its a terrible nights boxing right the way through like to card Frank reads all the threads on here and i would love to know your offering on the card? i just cant see how you can justify such a shit bill for sky ok Hall is due an easier fight but then its got to be backed up by a decent undercard not the pap thats on offer there
Spot on billy
Re: hall v donelly
would llike to say well done stu and think i said first 6 rounds i know stu he a great lad and fighter bring on the euro champHorse wrote:The main event is pretty weak as well as the undercard.the truth wrote:Poor undercard where's Jeffries, Dickinsons ,and all other northeast fighters ?whicker wrote:A good fight, but could do with some stronger undercard support really.
Re: hall v donelly
Yeah- he clearly needs to move up in class now. could have a decent crack at the Euro, hopefully he won't float around too long with meaningless Commonwealth type fights etc.
