mysterious trinangles

Post by man »

i know styles make fights and you cannot directly
compare, but some triangles do not stop to make
me wonder once in a while. two stand out for me.

ali-frazier-foreman
foreman knocks out frazier. frazier knocks down ali
and wins a UD. ali knocks out foreman.

hagler-hearns-duran
hagler crushes hearns. hearns crushes duran. duran
loses a close against a very prime hagler.

Ali - Foreman - Norton.

Ali knocked out Foreman in 8.

Forman knocked out Norton i two.

According to this Ali should have toyed with Norton, but had all sorts of problems.

In fairness, Robinson only managed one victory over Fullmer in four attempts. Not sure I would count that, but it's technically worthy, I guess.

technically yes, but not mysterious enough to me. fights
were too close (at least i guess whitaker beating DLH was
close too ... :) ) ... and whitaker was already shot against
tito, or had at least taken too much time off ...
