Andre Berto v Victor Ortiz on British TV?

Post by scrap iron »

It was hinted that Premier Sports may be showing this fight, but nothing is on their schedule. For £6.99 a month I've noticed their coverage of boxing has dropped off recently. Anyone know if this will be shown on British TV?
Also what has happened to Hennessy Sports? Hadn't Mick Hennessy secured a TV deal with Premier Sports?

There rumours on ESB that Froch and Hennessy have split.

Hennessy doesnt have many fighters left to promote, Barker and Murray have left him, Daws and O'Donnell have no belts.

I dont think Premier Sports' action has dropped at all, they had Segura v Calderon last week, and in two weeks they have the final of that bantamweight tournament, two brilliant fights on one night.

Dropped off? Premier Sports have been picking up plenty of fights Calderon/Segura is currently on, they showed Pirog's last fight, Bute/Magee, Martinez/Dzinziruk etc I'm really pleased with their output for 6.99 a month.

Berto/Ortiz would be a great fight for them to show though I agree
