Good old Flint seems to have vanished from the forum for good. Anyone know why?

I thought for a while that he had reincarnated himself as "Lefty", but I don`t think this is the case.

Definitely not Lefty, as their writing styles are too radically different to be the same person. I venture onto Eastside on the odd occasion to view posts (never actually post there) and Flint has definitely been on there under a different user name, though can't remember what it was.

I don't think people should feel ashamed of getting behind one fighter as much as Flint did and then pull a vanishing act when their idol's subsequently eaten up by the sport.

It's a brutal sport, but if it wasn't for the nuthuggers, we'd all be neutral... boring.

Same goes for the fighters who post here. fights are won and lost on a weekly basis, we're all here for one reason, we love love the sport, no shame either way, it's all just a part of the grand scheme!

Bring back Der Gibbon! I post a support message for DG every so often and it usually followed by a PM from a strangely named member and goes along the lines of ‘Diddly, Diddly, Diddly, DG lives! Keep the faith!’ followed a by a smillie. The message then disappears as soon as a mod logs on. It is very rum.

DG was a loon, but he was our loon and all he did was insult the uptight and reactionary members of the Oz forum, we should have commended him for that.

Flint often gives me a shout over at ESB but I never thank him as I banned for, like, life from ESB British forum.

And any more pro-DG posts will ultimately result in the same sanction here. The Law's fingers are drumming on the lid of the box within which lies his wig.
