anyone watching tonight?
i am. It will be the first time ive gone out to watch a mundine fight since geale i think. I think it will be a good fight, mainly because anthony is fighting for his career and Garth will be super confident of doing it again.
Re: anyone watching tonight?
I guess their first got its desired result then.
Now australian fans are starting to get interested in Mundine's domestic fights against crap opponents again.
Can't wait for the 3rd instalment - NOT

Re: anyone watching tonight?
well it at least makes it interesting. If Garth wins there will be no third fight
Re: anyone watching tonight?
Nup.
It's cards (fiascos) like this that have turned people like me away. Take the so called main event out of the picture and the rest of the card has a combined loosing record.......

If anyone is watching can you let me know how the Karanicolas fight went/goes?
I was hoping to catch it but I know it was early so probably missed it already.

has Niemann fought yet?
Re: anyone watching tonight?
Just fought, stopped Ellis a minute into the second round. He dropped Ellis once in the first and twice in the second, with the fight being wived off after the second time. He looked good, awesome power.

Just fought, wasn't in the room, TKO in 2. I walked out at end of round one, caught half the 1st round and saw the final uppercut that ended it - very nice.Liver Crusher wrote:has Niemann fought yet?

Re: anyone watching tonight?
wood down hard in last. Mundine wins ud. Some angry rednecks throwing chairs around in the pub
Re: anyone watching tonight?
I'd just like to add, I did not buy this fight, I did not go out and support a pub that showed this fight and I did, in no way, encourage the buying of this fight by going to watch it at a mate's house. I in no way contributed financially to the promotion.
Re: anyone watching tonight?
I doubt you ever bought nor attended any fight/show...given all you do 24/7 day in day out is cruise forums & base your opinion on others' opinion.dberry wrote:I'd just like to add, I did not buy this fight, I did not go out and support a pub that showed this fight and I did, in no way, encourage the buying of this fight by going to watch it at a mate's house. Re: anyone watching tonight?
it seemed to me that mundine had a plan(and not a bad one as it turned out) to take garth to the late rounds and wear him down then. however i had a major issue with the refereeing. i have never seen a ref get involved soooo much, and not just when they were tying up, they were still punching or even just squaring off ready to go and he would jump in and stop the fight. ive only ever noticed refs do that with the big heavies leaning on each other.
all in all was an ok night out. i think we got to see some very good local talent on display. i liked the look of most of the undercard winners esp nieman, murdock, lovett and dib.
not a bad night out for free tickets i say

Yeah Liver he's a real Talent, can;t wait until the first live opponent, then death by stoppage.......sooooooooooooooooo much work to do.....Maybe Hunter Sam should have a crack.........favouring Sam.....Nieman to struggle for national honors.
A real deal here Liver.............
