MacIntosh vs Gutknecht
I see Danny MacIntosh is defending his Title in Germany against former world title challenger Gutknecht, who lost a one sided decision Stieglitz. This is a tough first defence for MacIntosh but it's definetly a winnable fight. It's on the undercard of Geale vs Sylvester. Thoughts?

I've not seen Gutnecht before but it seems strange that Danny has the title and is defending it in Germany of all places. you would have thought he could have got a fight closer to home.
Re: MacIntosh vs Gutknecht
He's going to have to be alot better than last time.
Re: MacIntosh vs Gutknecht
Good luck to him. I hope he comes through it, he has a very tough mandatory fight waiting for him in Uzelkov that's for sure!!

I guess Sauerland are offering good money, I also be believe Danny's a free agent and not tied with any British promoter which would make good business sense fighting abroad.

Danny's got a lot more potential than he showed against Karl, I'm sure he'll show it against Gutknecht.jBacca wrote:He's going to have to be alot better than last time.

Re: MacIntosh vs Gutknecht
I hope so...without falling into cliche, but away from home in Germany.........
Re: MacIntosh vs Gutknecht
He can beat this guy but it should be remembered that he took his last fight on short notice!! He is better than he showed against Karl but I don't believe he would beat Uzelkov if I'm honest!
I hope he beats the two of these guys, this first guy up is small and Danny is big at the weight so he has every advantage, however with it being in Germany it kinda makes it a 60/40 fight in Danny's favor I feel..
Like I've said I think he'll win but it's no formality.. ;)

Re: MacIntosh vs Gutknecht
I'm sure there could be a decent fight for him in this country if Uzelkov gets a better offer
