That's right mate Paul Graham signed him and was due to headline his show in Wishaw. Paul got him and eastern European boxer but Iain knocked it back because the dude was a southpaw. Could all be a load of nonsense but that's what I was told. Pauls doing well without him right enuff. Got another show lined up I'm May with 8 fights on it. Would be good to find out excatly what happened to Millavie.

he pulled out of the first prizefighter, i think he claimed motivational problems (or something like that)...fair enough i suppose but we never like to lose a 7-0 hw who was by all accounts a good amateur

Just saw this on a some website, didn't know he was with Tommy Gilmour.

TOMMY Gilmour has cancelled his contract with Hamilton heavyweight Ian Millarvie and accused the boxer of lacking the heart to fulfil his potential.

'Millarvie turned professional under Gilmour in a blaze of publicity four years ago with the Glasgow-based manager and promoter convinced he had found the man who could become the first Scot ever to win the British heavyweight title.

The 28-year-old former Scottish amateur champion, however, has fought just seven times since making his debut in January 2005. He underlined his promise by winning all seven contests, five of them by stoppage, but has now not fought since November 2007.'

What his amatur record finnish?
