Is it Eddie? The younger one. He thinks the British Board of Control can order a rematch for a world title.

Bless.

He's got to stop his dad taking over like he did after the fight. Makes Eddie look like a little boy.

It had the touches of Lou Duva about it...... Hearn at one stage was physically held back by Breen/Magee.....I would have loved to have seen Magee lose his rag mind!

I much prefere the American approach, really, focus on the fighters, not the whinging. If a golden boy fighter had lost all 6 rounds, and even if it was a controversial stoppage, then they would be realisitic about it.

There seems to be this British "We were robbed" culture they are playing up, which is utter nonsense.

If Mcloskey was winning that fight, he WOULD have won that fight. If it was the old British rule- the fighter who is cut loses- then maybe, maybe it would have been a bit different (although the result had been the same.)

But thats the rules- accidental cut, it goes to scorecards.

For sure, Hearn etc can feel angry perhaps at the stoppage (which as always is a decision made- thats how boxing goes) but on reflection, hopefully they will see Mcloskey was out of this depth, and move on.

True- Khan's isn't the only title, of course.

Firstly, lets see him actually fight and beat anyone who is genuinly close to world class/contender level.

Sure it's frustrating that his change against Khan ends on a cut, but hell, he hadn't won a round!

I thought he did really well on Ringside with Booth in the build up to the Audley fight, seems really enthusiastic for the sport too.

Must be a bit frustrating for him at times, I think he should either keep a low profile until he retires or get no involvement from his father. At the moment, it just seems like he is there representing his father's company cause his old man it too busy.

He is Leforge, just when Barry turns up - it gives the impression that Barry is still the boss and ultimately calls the shots. Its probably untrue, just the impression people get watching on TV. Barry is an incredibly busy man.

i think the wba has become a joke for an organisation of recent times & this adds to the matter.i dont think he's a joker as the organisation is open for discrimination & mcloskey should recieve some form of consolation for his effort's like a final eliminator or interim as khan is eyeing a unification with bradley & if succesfull, which i doubt will see him move way beyond mcloskey.

dlh annoyed me for being so political & phoney which resembles nothing of a ex-fighter or mexican pride.

the ref should be repremanded for calling the ref from khans corner into the ring centre without letting mcloskeys corner see with khan being in the correct neutral corner??? it was un-proffesional & farcial as everyone knows if a cut is not impairing or losing alot of blood it continues with obvious monitoring & letting the corner stem it.

but the funniest quote of all was mcloskey calling khan pale     sorry but that was gold :!:

Whether Eddie is calling the shots at Matchroom or not, you can't ignore the fact that since he got involved they've snapped up two great names in Darren Barker and Kell Brook.

Eddie seems like a decent guy but one that says what he thinks. Last week he won a lot of respect for criticising Khan's management publicly when a lot of people would have been busy blowing smoke up arses to try and keep the promotion smooth.

Seeing that pick of Eamonn Magee and Oscar - they both don't look that far of their fighting weight (Magee especially) and around the same size - seeing Oscar in his suit and Eamonn in his trainers shirt - hard to believe which one was the world class fighter.
