almost every other commission i know of around the world would call it a technical decision in favour of whichever fighter was ahead at that time.
what's the ruling if the cut is the result of a butt and the fight has to be stopped due to severity of the cut?
Maloney Invitation to debate
Back to the 3 judges rule someone has said on this (or another thread here) that the 3 judges rule is not going to be applied to English, Southern Area, Celtic title fights. Maloney was implying in the interview following the Oakey fight that it will be for all fights in September (or all title fights). Perhaps this needs to be asked to Maloney in the "debate". Will he be pursuing that it does apply to all title fights?
What does this mean to Commonwealth title fights held in this country?

From BBN based on a press release from the board
"After years of debating the subject the British Boxing Board of Control have decided to change the rule which stipulates that only the referee scores a British or Commonwealth title fight in this country.
The new regulation which means there will be a non-scoring referee and three scoring judges for all British and Commonwealth Championship fights, the original proposal was to have three judges for all contests but this was amended, will come into affect on the 1st September 2005."

The only qualm I think boxing forum members can have with him is some of his libel threats which has forced the forum to make an automatic edit when his name is said in full.
