Khan should have stayed with Ariza?

Anyone else think leaving Ariza was a bad idea?

Khan looked stronger and in better condition with Ariza (in my opinion). Ariza is one of the best in the game when it comes to conditioning, Khan looked strong under Ariza - Veale not so much.

It's a mistake of course, we all know that. Same as when he trained with Rubio after leaving Harrison. They'll put on a spin on things but if it aint broke don't fix it I say.

I'm no Khan apologist but I understand that Ariza worked on a percentage and if thats the case Khan was correct to fire him. There are hundreds of world class conditioning coaches working in the army and other sports in the states. The NFL for example will have a plethora of conditioning coaches who would work with a fighter for a flat fee in the off season. I mean its not rocket science! Think Usain Bolt's coach is on a percentage?

Also Khan was blowing out his arse against Maidana, so not sure where the Ariza love-in comes from.

Khan looked pretty fit to me last night. People going on as if he was fast running out of gas. As I see it he was starting to come on in the sixth and getting to McCloskey a bit. After winning six rounds you'd have said fair enough if he'd had a lull for a round, but who's to say he wouldn't have got his second win, as much as people are saying McCloskey was going to come on strong?

Amir is a fantastic athlete, these guys just tweak that extra little bit out of him, he knows how to get his body in shape as he's been round these guys long enough now.. Amir learnt so much from Ariza and I'm sure he has not just forgot it all...

Perhaps, I don't know. Think perhaps it being a guy he was meant to sweep aside, he had trouble getting up for it after such a tough fight against Maidana. You may be right, but looking at those pics he looked in terrific shape.
