I would have thought he would be dead against it. Do you think he sees it as a big money fight for both his men and a very winnable fight for Manny, who he would no doubt be training and in the corner for? I wouldn't have thought Khan would want to change trainer, even just for one fight, just to earn a few quid. All a bit strange for Roach to suggest this after Khan's showing on Saturday.
The move to 147 after Bradley makes sense though as there are plenty of big fights to be made, not least Ortiz now.

In that story he never actually mentions Khan facing Manny, haven't seen the whole interview and it is the sun reporting it!
I'd imagine it would be the end for Khan & Roach if they were to fight and he ended up in the other corner.
Seems more like it's a bit of hype to get the Khan brand mentioned with Pacquiao

Looks like that's what he is saying to me, I'm surprised though.Freddy Roach on Khan Bradley wrote:"Their fight will determine who is the best at 140lbs and then the winner should go up to 147 and take on Manny Pacquiao," he said. "That is my feeling."

Has Roach forgotten the slight problem that he trains both men?

It happens, Angelo Dundee was in Jimmy Ellis' corner for his fight with Muhammad Ali.banjo wrote:Has Roach forgotten the slight problem that he trains both men?

I wonder if Roach is buliding Khan as a future opponent for Manny when he knows full well that Khan doesn't have the power or the chin to win
