Good news, hope it comes off and it's on SKY. I think Mitchell is in with a real shout after Murrays' last bout.

Indeed what happens if Warren does not win bid. This fight be for an inter title then if Murray does not fight his mandotory.

Yep Murray did have an off night last time, but Mitchell isn't exactly coming off a good performance either, He's got to have a warm up fight before taking on Murray.

Or does Mr Warren know that Mitchell has only got 1 payday left in him, and is getting the biggest fight he can out of him?

yep like what your sayin but they think they san take murray they wrong murray wins 9 x out of 10 for me and 1 more pay day would think mitchell smarter than that or is he on his way out of the beloved sport we all know is tough only time will tell but great call :TU:

I don't think Mitchell will be the same fighter as he was.
The inuvlnerablitiy he must have felt before is shattered and self doubt must have crept in.
Murray still wins his fights even on a bad day, he must have the edge surely

Good fight and one that is pretty much perfect for both at their respective stages of their careers. With this set for summer, it does make it extremely unlikely that either will be on the 21/5 PPV card, which is a big shame.

Yes another top match up. The hungrier fighter wins this one, for me thats Murray now. I do wonder where Mitchell would go next if he did manage to pull it out of the bag?

murray v mitchell is a great domestic matchup.

maybe if it catches fire, it could be the gomez-arthur of this decade - you never know. one on the way up, one supposedly on the way down albeit with a terrific opportunity - these can be the ingredients for a thriller.

so will we get both murray-rees AND murray-mitchell? two tremendous fights for the UK scene with world class implications (much can be made of rees' WBA 140 title, and mitchell's win over prescott...)

i'm not bothered about katsidis- he's been well beate, YET AGAIN, in world class (this time, guerrero). if this was murray's big fight, then this shows perhaps a lack of confidence in murray...). if murray is wanting to fight a top fighter on the world scene, then for the greater opportunity you'd hope for guerrero (perhaps for the title that JMM will no doubt vacate soon), demarco (for WBC title soto will likely vacate before long) or rios, provided brandon can win the unification with miguel vazquez, a really bloody tricky boxer.

back to mitchell, he is aquestion mark. worst case scenario: he does a jennings. jennings was very negative vs kell brook, after being battered by cotto. hopefulyl murray and mitchell match up well.

Mitchell wasn't ready for the Katsidis fight. I'm not sure MUrray would have fared any better. If we can see the Mitchell who beat Prescott and knocked Mendoza out brutally, I rekon he'll win

Yeah, credit to him for doing his job! Think its more of a case that if his shows on PPV he HAS to make competitive match ups. If history tells us anything, its that if he can get away with shocking mismatches for ridiculous titles on Sky he will.
