There's a lot of snobby attitudes on this forum towards other boxing forum sites like eastside boxing and boxing scene but don't be fooled as eastside probably has the most up to date insider news for not just British boxing but world boxing too.

British, european and classic sections are brilliant.

The ESB lounge is the greatest forum on the internet, so many strange personalities on there.

The general forum is crap like our current scene.

It's not a case of being snobby, it's just I for one can't stick the level of ignorance on there from some posters and the abuse that goes hand-in-hand with that. I looked on it yesterday and the level of casual racism displayed by a minority is staggering.

I used to post on ESB and there were some very good posters but they were totally out numbered by some absolute tools which is off putting.

ESB is run by sensationalist idiots, some of the stories they run are laughable. Their forum is full of tools. Just my opinion.

Boxing News 24 takes some beating for shitty, troll-y articles.

Can't say for world boxing, but it does have some good info on British boxing. Thing is though, it's very difficult to sort the wheat from the chaff. For every decent bit of info, there's half a dozen ridiculous rumours which have no foundation.

Same for the posters - some good, knowledgeable lads over there but also a lot of dingbats.

Many over there complain that this place is over-moderated (which I don't agree with) but there is such a lack of moderation on there it spoils it.

I do post there though and visit a few times a week.

Strange? explain
I think its quiet clear and needs no explanation.

You are a really crafty fellow though, I will grant you that. If they are all as cunning and witty as yourself over at ESB maybe we should all join.

Too many trolls on ESB in my opinion. They ban folk for nothing (ie mentioning other sites) and there is far too much made up guff on there.

Boxrec, in comparison, is full of people who are either from within the game or travel very close to it.

Boxing News 24 is the worst, I got that and ESB mixed up. ESB is somewhere in between here and BoxingNews24 articles wise. This forum I like because in the main it is pretty sensible and not too trolly.

ESB has more trolls than Lord of the fecking Rings

Boxrec is by far the best forum IMO, though ESB does have some decent posters.

They're in the minority though from what I've seen.

I've tried re-educating ESB's current scene on David Haye (like I've done with Boxrecs), but it's like Muhammad Ali fighting 3000 midgets - you can spark the first 5 or so then you just get swamped with them

Boxing News 24 and ESB are run and owned by the same people. There are some really good people on ESB, but they are surrounded by ejuts.

I liken ESB to this scene. Mostly trolls, a few reasonably normal looking people, but even the normal ones you wouldn't hang out with on a Friday night.

As Arsene Wenger once said "Everyone thinks they have the prettiest wife"

ESB is much busier than it is here and as a result much quicker with news, more RBR's. Overall better quality posting here though.

The articles on ESB are crap - if you want to read articles the best place is here for the British scene or BS for global stuff.

The forum isn't moderated enough which is a shame, as there's loads of aliases on there at the minute that start a new thread on a particular topic even though there's at least three on the front page.

Is this place overmoderated.... hmm, it depends on what you prefer. I think some posters are a bit quick to shoot down others if they offer a dissenting opinion - for instance I picked Frank Bruno to beat David Haye and was ridiculed, yet the same thread popped up on the classic section of ESB and 90% picked Bruno.... I can't stand Haye anyway so that sat well with me

BoxingNews24 is just a comedy website, articles are just posted there to get clicks and generate money, a bit like the Chin Checkers on ESB - most of ''those people'' are probably just the site owner generating traffic.

Nice work if you can get it :OhYes:

British forum is good to read. I don't post though as I'd end up getting into daft arguments with some of the eejits there, which are plentiful.
