Fury - Chisora.... Who Do You Want To Win and Why?

Post by keithmoonhangover »

I want Fury to win because Chisora beat his Mrs up and to me, that's a no-no.

I want the best man to win. I've got no preference for either boxer

Chisora didn't beat his Mrs up, he grabbed her and spanked her arse when she was trying to leave (as far as I'm aware)

He didn't punch her in the face, but he was convicted of assualt and theft. My mistake, he's a nice guy.

I'm not bothered who wins, but looking forward to a 50/50 fight. If I was gonna pick one, I'd go Chisora, late stoppage.

x2.

Personality wise they are kind of the same person to me, so I just want the better fighter to take it and then move on to bigger things.

I really can't see past Chisora in this one, he's a more athletic and technically better version of Fury. He has faster hands, more power, higher workrate, better accuracy, stronger and a better mover. I see him slipping Fury's jab getting inside and working him over to head and body inside, before moving away and coming back in with combinations, beating Fury to the punch and generally sickening him. I see a game Fury getting stopped around the 8th

Chis.

I'm definitely one of the people wound up by the Fury hype-machine. I can't stand him and his scumbag family.

Fury, slightly, but it's a battle between our two most amusing heavyweights for a very long time, so I don't mind who wins.

I do think Fury can take it with his long jab if his conditioning holds up - for periods against Sexton, Chisora just seemed to stop throwing and get picked off - but Chisora's shown more consistent skills and better power so far, so if Fury hasn't improved he'll lose.

Chisora to win. Not sure he stops Fury though.

He should outpoint him as he has more talent than Fury and is (generally) better conditioned.

I think Fury gets far too much ink, and his talent just does not warrant it. Plus, his Dad is a twat of the highest order.

PS Are we going to get the usual 'airbrushed' photo's of Fury, minus his love handles? It's soo funny when Hennessey does that. :TU:

Good match though, so no real complaints but would have preferred Chisora vs McDermott (Chisora wins) and Fury vs Price (Price wins) but that is just a minor gripe.

At the moment it feels like Fury's career is speeding along nicely. Price seems to be stuck at the starting line tryoing to get his career into gear. I think Fury has. Learned a hell of a lot more than Price since they turned pro.

I'm not fussed, but I want to see a dominant display by the winner. I want us to be thinking about the winner - "okay, we do have one of the best prospected in the world at heavyweight" - without us necessarily thinking its promoters hype or simply because there is a lack of depth to the devision.

I have the feeling we won't get this, but thats what I want to see.

I just want to see a good fight at Heavyweight for the first time in 8 years.

You could also continue that argument by saying "I want Chisora to win because Fury's dad gouged some poor guy at t'market!"

Draw anyone?

That's his Dad, not him. Chisora is a convicted criminal.

I know there are some big Fury fans out there but I've been surprised how many people think this is a fifty-fifty fight. Chisora is too skilful, too quick for Fury, especially if Tyson turns up in his usual flabby, unconditioned state.

I am going to say Tyson Fury as he has got the reach, jab and handspeed to mark up and cut Derek Chisora in my eyes, along with a savage dig to the body. Fury will soften up Chisora with the body punches in the early rounds and stop Chisora in the the Championship rounds.

Agree with this. Chisora has very good head movement and will absolutely anihilate Fury on the inside.

If Fury is 100% fit he beats Chisora comfortable, if he's in the Condition as the 2nd John McDermott he gets stopped within 4..
Iv watched him spar lately and he has come on loads, hand speed foot work. Looks in Good Shape already....

Any news on date and venue. I read Hennessy paid 300,000 for this.
