Mon 4th July - 18.55 to Heathrow, then 20.00 to Newcastle
Bout £200 on BA's website. Not bad
Yes, if you're prepared to shell out for two extra nights hotel, great. Flights on Friday and back on Sunday are now very expensive - from wherever you want to go in the UK and with whoever.

Head down to the Reeperbahn, what a spot!!!!!!
As a young squaddie, I blew a month and half's wages in a single weekend smashing the back doors off any brass that moved and downing Lord knows how much ale, in and around the Reeper. I had to jump out of a plane on the Monday morning after only arriving back where I should've been an hour before wheels-up - I thought I was going to spew all the way up and all the way down. My jap's eye was weeping for a month. Happy memories.
Just looked on Easyjet for Manchester to Hamburg return. Funnily enough usually it's dirt cheap but that weekend from Thursday onwards the flights are stupid dear. Don't you just love opportunistic rip-off companies.
TheCobra wrote:CHeapest I could get it to was £124.42 per person for return flights from Manchester to Hamburg. Not actually that bad at all.
God knows how you did that mate (unless you're going Thurs or coming back Monday). Well done.
It was going out on Friday and coming back Monday, which is how I like to do these things. I always think if I'm gona go to the hassle of getting flights and going somewhere I may as well stay a few nights and check the place out properly.
Cheapest I could find for going in Saturday and coming home Sunday was £220, but then I've never seen the sense in going somewhere to watch boxing and just coming straight back. May as well stay another couple of nights and enjoy what Hamburg has to offer than waste the extra money on flights and have to rush about!

Yeah, but the saving would be more than wiped out on extra spends plus I'd have to have another day off work. Horses for courses. I don't mind being there early but once things are done and dusted, I prefer to get out of dodge.
Tell you what, chaps, I really admire your bravery booking this fight so early.
What with Haye's record, and the fact both Klitschkos have had their problems with delaying fights due to injury, I'd be worried if I had one of those non-refundable flights.
But anyway, best of luck to all'yall -- and let's hope that Mr. Haye can repay your devotion with a big KO.
