I think DLH might make it a PPV in the states, but would need to get a good undercard - probably too soon for Maidana to fight on it. Judah vs someone maybe?

This might sound a bit silly to us,but we are all hardcore fans with decent knowledge of the sport(most of us).But would Bradley do that many more buys in this country than McCloskey? With Dudey you have the Irish factor which definately at least doubled the live gate on Saturday.I went to the Prescott and Kotelnik fights and the upper tier was not even open.The 'casual' will not have even heard of Bradley.At least they had the Irish to count on buying in this fight.

The problem with Bradley v Khan as a PPV is that the fight would probably be in Vegas and therefore not until 4am UK time. I really can't see Sky asking for £15 for that. Their stance over the McCloskey fight is a clear line in the sand in terms of what they expect from PPV and I can't see an early morning fight being too attractive. I suppose it depends on how many buys the McCloskey fight actually did.

I don't understand this logic. Prescott was unknown, Kotelnik was in school holidays. Maybe people were keen to see Khan after 2 fights in America.
I went to see McCloskey defend his British title in Widnes and there must have been 50 people who paid at the venue, a maximum of ten who were supporting McCloskey. This idea that boxers (Khan in particular) has no fans or they just come to watch the opponent is simply rubbish.

And i saw Hatton at Donny Dome with no more than 50 fans of his own there and again at Eastlands with 55,000 present.The Khan fight was big news in Ireland.

Well yes, but all those fights you mentioned, bar Maidana were prime time in the UK so will always get more buys than a Bradley fight at 4.30 in the morning.

Maidana was a mandatory and also was quite a big name as a result of a FOTY fight with Ortiz.
