I've just come to realize that I am not included in the managers section, I've been apart of this since the very begining just like those other guys and I've guided multiple fighters to World championships. I also started the original HOF before everything was wiped out and I'd like to think my name belongs in the hall of fame next to the other managers that are there.

I imagine you'll be inducted shortly FoL. We always knew there was another manager, but couldn't recall who it was!

yeah it was me, do you think it will go to a vote?, cause I think it should be immediate, it feels like I've been completely overlooked. everyone will probably vote yes anyway so it doesn't even matter I guess.

As the First Winner of Prize Fighter, I think Bob Fitzsimmons should be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Fist of Legend is inducted belatedly into the Hall of Fame. No need for a vote on this one. Congratulations. Apologies it is so late but it was very hard to remember the original simmers.

Nominating yourself is just plain wrong and just creating a thread doesn't get you into the HOF even if it is directed at forum rogue Crease.

Hold on now. The tournament as a whole was being voted on, not the one in the welterweight season only. It's an annual thing. That's some BS Mary.
So i'll just remove the "welterweight" part then?

Do you feel these ratings give an accurate representation of your abilities?

A suggestion for The Hall...
Should The Hall recognition The Great Deletion?

And if so, should we have a distinction of when fighters and managers competed...
For example; Before the Great Deletion or after it.

The hall does recognise the Great Deletion as evident in John Shep's induction into the rogue's section.

But I think whether a fighter was great before or after it doesn't matter, the greatness was achieved and voted upon either way.

It does when it is impossible to check HOFers records before it.

Whereas those boxers who have achieved after it, well there records are readily available to anyone who chooses to do hsi research.

So you do not trust the vote of your peers before you were around?

The fighters in the HOF before the great deletion were voted in the exact same way as they are today, democratically and fairly. True, we have no records to rely on for the older ones but can you really not put your trust in an induction which must have been voted on by the very people of BRS to be approved?

To make a distinction between an induction before or after the great deletion, could somehow put the suggestion out that the older inductions are less reliable and not as worthy because of lack of evidence when they could have been much better fighters than the ones we have today.

What does everybody else think?

I say fornicate the old guard

In all seriousness it gives the old inductees a historic edge. Is anyone every going to be regarded as better than Sugar Ray Robinson in RL?

I doubt it, regardless of what is achieved in the modern era.

The lack of documentation about their careers does give this idea legitimacy.

I apologise if my words came across as an attack on the integrity of my fellow Managers, I can assure you that it was not.

My point is, as you rightfully highlighted:

We have absolutely no way to compare stats with the later Hall Of Famers. And itis a shame.

I suggested making the distinction between the two eras so that future Managers will know that the Pre-Deletion Champions were elected and remain in The Hall based on the strength of the then Managers convictions. :TU:

And the fact that there is no research of information on the early era fighters will be forthcoming. :(

I am sure that Managers would prefer to examine the facts and the stats rather than just echo the opinions of original Managers as they have no basis to form their own.
