STEVE HARKIN – Is desperate to reverse his only loss to date and takes on his conqueror Terry Caruthers in a rematch next week on the FTM sports SKY show in Liverpool which is also topped by a rematch in Stephen Smith v John Simpson which should be another cracker .
MIKE ROBINSON – Golly was also due to be on the Liverpool show against former opponent Ross Burkinshaw , but Ross has withdrew and Mike has now took the opportunity to fight Ashley Sexton in a 8 round chief support to Darren Barker on the Matchroom show in London on the 30th April. Golly sees this as a chance to jump the queue for a title
JOSH WARRINGTON – Continues his progress with a 6 round contest against former British Champion Mark Callaghan on the City Hall showdown event in Hull on the 28th April topped by local man Tommy Coyle going for his first title , tickets available from all boxers or from http://www.steviesmithboxing.com

GARY DAVIES – Is back in the gym following the removal of the hand cast after a successful operation by leading specialist Mike Hayton ,he hopes to get an outing before the end of the season and then the mission to revenge his loss to Stuart Hall will begin. Gary has vowed to retire if he was to lose again to Stuart Hall.
BRIAN ROSE – Is training hard for his 13th May English title defence and will be ready to step up to British level if anything goes pear shape with the Sam Webb v Prince Arron top of bill title fight.
RICK GODDINS – Would love the opportunity to box Lee Purdy for the British Title he has just won stopping fellow Mancunian Craig Watson.
KIERON FARRELL – Has been nominated to fight CA lightweight champion Jon Baguley and this will take place on a VIP show in June.
NEW SIGNINGS – 2 very decent amateurs have agreed to sign for VIP and next weeks gossip will announce there names and confirm dates for their first fights.
