questionable entries

Can anyone tell me if possibly a past Editor may have made some rogue entries? I seem to remember an individual sending in ficticious bouts. Did he have Editorial privileges? I see some items on Billy Hunter's record that I question. April 30, 1956 vs Curtis Bruce (he supposedly was inactive during 1956). The fight was in Providence, Rhode Island. Hunter fought in the Detroit-Chicago area until mid 1958. Bruce was also a LightHeavyweight. The other bout was May 30, 1957 vs Erwin Hack, in Detroit. Didn't Hack fight all of his fights in Europe and Africa? Hunter had a fight the night before on May 29, 1957, in Chicago against Fritz Jack (The source I'm looking at has Zack). Boxrec also may have a duplicate - Alonzo Johnson - shows April 13 and 14, 1959. The 14th is the dupe. May want to double check my thinking. Another possibility is there is another Billy Hunter (not aware of) that fought in the Mid 50's.

Good eye $bill. We do have another Bill Hunter with 2 bouts against Jimmy Sullivan in MA, I have shuffled the Bruce bout over there for now. Have changed Fritz Jack to Zack. The Erwin Hack entry may have been confused with Fritz Zack-one day apart with the same decision. Also deleted the Alonzo Johnson dupe and will enter the full card for the 13th. Thanks for the information.

Great work. Can you help on the Bert Whitehurst items? Pretty sure the 11-25-1954 fight is a dupe. Think an additional one was added to the 1-25-1954 fight.

Cancelled the 11/25 bout and added the rest of the 01/25 card. Thanks again.
