118-112???

Good fight but if this was an American judge scoring like that against a Brit we'd want him lynched

Great fight though, credit to both fighters and the decision was split on this forum. Credit to British boxing

That's becoming clearer and clearer. The board might need to step in

Seems like from watching it on TV or web, most went for Simpson.

Of course its different scoring a fight when actually there, and i can't argue with the other 2 judges scorecards, but 118-112 is way way off.

It's the not the first time Terry O'Connor's scoring has been questionable to say the least. What fights does he watch? Because they rarely seem to be the same ones everyone else is seeing.

Had the same scorecard as Woodhall, 115-114. Can't understand it by 6.

Terry O'Connor's the ref who scored Tyson Fury John McDermott's first fight. He must have had shit in his eyes tonight too.

I'm assuming Smith has got the decision? Has he been interviewed, did his hand go again.

Seems like these two are very hard to separate.

He must have been watching a re-run of Ortiz-Berto, because NO WAY did Smith win that by six points! Credit to both lads though, tip and tuck all the way! I thought Smith was done by round five but he came roaring back.

i don't believe that any fan or either corner can argue with a 1 point swing for either man, but i am absolutely sickened by a 118-112 scorecard. It is disgusting and needs to be stamped out immediately. Simpson has to be 1 of the most victimised people on the scorecards in history.

Well done for an excellent show of sportsmanship by Smith in the after fight interview, he could of got into an arguement when Simpson was having his say, but Smith just said what a good fighter John is, and he's entitled to his opinion.

Did McCrory just say O'Connor is normally a good judge?

Good sportsmanship from both fighters. Simpson has a right to feel aggrieved but didn't take it out on Smith which would have been pretty easy to do.
