Ah yes, that hallowed top-100 list of all-time you're forever bringing up, but never actually bringing up.

Elmer why you don't post your precious top 100 all-time great fighter list? You always bringing that up with nothing to back it up. Were is you list? Love to see where you rank Leonard (Duran's daddy), and other greats. We all know DLH, Morales, and Benitez does not make your top 100. Post the list, we all are eager to see that list.
You must've missed their first fight, where that actually happened. Morales won in name only --- Barrera beat him.

That's one of your mythical robberies, razor close fight. The majority of people that scream robbery would score it and have it 114-113 MAB with a bogus knock down.

Saying Erik would always beat him at any point is silly. I agree with you there.

I personally had their trilogy 1-1-1, the rubber match being a draw (HBO's rooting and bias in favor of MAB was sickening)

Morales beat Junior Jones, McCullough, Chi, Ayala Hernandez, Chavez, and Pacquiao.

Barrera beat Hamed, Ayala, an older Kelley, lost twice to Junior Jones, lost twice to Pacquiao.

Morales has the better resume and in his prime IMO was the better fighter. I think some are swayed by HBO's love affair with MAB that existed the past few years. Barrera was slicker boxing wise but Morales's boxing ability is under-rated, and he was also the bigger hitter/more durable.
I agree with you completely.

Morales won a close decision. Barrera did not beat him. Yes the fight was as close as it gets, and it was competitive all the way but Morales won. They both evenly match-up but Morales was the better fighter of the two with the better resume.

Morales MAY be a bit better, (nominal and not sure you could convince me) however Barrera would always have the advantage one on one....because he would likely always be able to out think Morales. Antonio was overall a smarter fighter with nearly equal skills.

If Morales won his first fight with Barrera, De La Hoya won his first fight with Mosley.

Near enough, as the maxim goes, aint good enough.

Nope, one was a clear win, the other was a tale of lampley's orgasms. I'm surprised you let him score the fight for you.

Geez, from some of your other cards, Saad, I would probably let Jim score a fight for me ahead of you! :TU:

Two all time greats and nothing to separate them to be honest. I would give MAB the nod based on more fights overall in his career while maintaining a similar win/loss ratio and of course the two wins over Morales, which was a fair result over the trilogy.
