right now? most probably Byrd by a lopsides UD. Tyson has a slim chance of landing one huge punch that stuns Byrd enough to enable Tyson to land several more power shots to end the fight. Like I said though, most likely Byrd by UD.

prime for prime? Tyson by a mid rounds KO or TKO

I was impressed when I saw Byrd fight. His style could really screw an opponent up.But Tyson past or present would crush him.

Byrd would make Tyson quit right now . . .any other suggestion is stupidity sorry. Byrd is 20 times the fighter of Kevin McBride.

Tyson would quite just like he did against McBride and Williams, he wouldn't be able to lay a glove on Byrd at this stage of his career, and Byrd has shown that he has a good chin too, he took plenty of shots from vitali and the harder hitting Wlad and wasn't knocked out by either, he took plenty of shots from Ike before getting stopped.

Nonsense.

Now Tyson wouldn't have a chance--obviously. Prime vs. Prime, Byrd would have a slim, outside chance of continually turning him and frustrating him (think round 2, Tyson-Holmes) for a narrow points win. A very slim chance, though.

Prime Tyson koes Byrd inside 3 rounds. Now he will be stopped by Byrd inside 6.

Prime Tyson had the speed to catch Byrd and Byrd doesnt have the kind of power, reach and height to keep Tyson away so he wouldnt stand a chance.

The only reason Byrd is fighting so successfully is because today the fighters are too slow. In the early 90s to mid 1990s he would have been stopped by a lot of fighters (that is a prime Byrd mind you, though his prime was not in the 90s). Bowe, Holyfield, Lewis, Moorer, Foreman, McCall, Tyson, Tuaman would have stopped him back then.

Byrd is mor ehyped than even Tyson. He is nowhere near as good as he seems today by fighting big oafs that cant move fast.

And by the way, already Byrd is past his prime and is getting hit a lot more. He will be stopped again by someone. Probably an outsider. he only has 12 months left before he is washed up.
