Enjoy Jamie, try to keep in the game though
Re: Jamie Arthur Retires
I am with him next Saturday at the Newport show, I will print the well wishes off and give them to him as I know he will appreciate it.
Re: Jamie Arthur Retires
Sensible head on his shoulders, he did a GP referal course with a mate of mine and seemed to have goals in mind.
I did wonder if he had retired when he was on real radio not so long ago - he was doing alot of slips and talking about his career in the past tense.
I do wish him all the best, surprised me with his success in his comeback and always gave good value for money. Although my main memory of him was his gutsy display as an amateur in the commonwealths.

Shame judging by his last performance he still had a lot to offer, but he obvisouly knows what's right for his body! I would of loved to see him in with Rhys Roberts, Scott Quigg, Karl Frampton and even a rematch with Badger, he really would of tested those lads and made them more than ready for domestic+ fights.

Good luck in your future endeavours Jamie. Came across like a true gent and a was in some very good scraps. All the best!
Re: Jamie Arthur Retires
very brave fighter. lots of guts. Deserved a bit more luck. Hope he stays in the game and he has a good life with his family. There is life after boxing after all. Just to note that there a fighter called sean gorman who lost his first 2 fights but jamie worked with him for his third and the guy won.
Re: Jamie Arthur Retires
Good fighter and I am glad he won a pro belt before he called it quits.

Good luck for the future Jamie, top pro and top guy
Re: Jamie Arthur Retires
he's doing the right thing.the sport/buisness carry's little momentum even when you are on track. it's a shame as he loves being a boxer & lucky enough he has other things to focus on.
good luck

Always enjoyed watching you box. Last two fights were superb, I thought Booth was very close. Good luck in your charity stuff.
