A lot of the earlier guys had low ratios because the fighters were so damn tough.

Ike Williams is widely recognized for his power, but if someone just looked at his record it wouldn't nearly tell the tale.

Santos Laciar became more of a puncher as his career went on.

Hasegawa is a recent one.

A lot of guys went the full route with Erik Morales, but I never heard any of them say he couldn't punch

Dick Tiger. He didn't have a bad ko ratio but it was below 50%, still guys who fought him rated him as a great puncher.
