Re: British Top 30 P4P May 2011
As per usual brilliant list. Personally I would have Afolabi lower and Swifty and Simpson ahead of Hall!
Re: British Top 30 P4P May 2011
I do not understand how Khan can be above Haye.
Re: British Top 30 P4P May 2011
I think the same about Froch.sendo wrote:I do not understand how Khan can be above Haye.
Horse - does Haye go to numero uno is he beats Wlad?
I'd have Barker above Macklin, but I'm sure you've got your reasons not to.
Re: British Top 30 P4P May 2011
Not sure how you worked that out Alex mate? Hall is flyingSwifty and Simpson ahead of Hall
Great list Horse, not a big poster myself but you always get it pretty spot on pal

Alex - don't encourage him.alexpaterson wrote:As per usual brilliant list. Personally I would have Afolabi lower and Swifty and Simpson ahead of Hall!
Five years of moving people up and down in the wrong order, and only now has Bob Fitzsimmons been dropped from top 10 for inactivity.
Three cheers for Horse? Neigh....... :)
Only messing Horse, not a bad list, and I would have Khan above Haye until he steps in and beats Klit.
Re: British Top 30 P4P May 2011
Nice one Horse - only thing i'd say, is i'd probably have Barker (13) at bit higher after his win, and Murray (8) a bit lower. Then it all starts getting a bit too complicated for me.

Thank you very much.alexpaterson wrote:As per usual brilliant list.
Afolabi is currently Britain's No. 1 cruiserweight with a win against Maccarinelli and decent showing against Huck. His last opponent was pretty decent, so I think his current position is reasonable for now.alexpaterson wrote:Personally I would have Afolabi lower and Swifty and Simpson ahead of Hall!
Hall is on very good form at the moment with wins against Power x2, Napa, Davies & Donnelly; so I think him being above Simpson and Smith is fair.
Re: British Top 30 P4P May 2011
In the last 2 years Khan has beaten: Kotelnik, Salita, Malignaggi, Maidana & McCloskey. Haye has beaten: Valuev, Ruiz & Harrison.sendo wrote:I do not understand how Khan can be above Haye.
In my opinion Khan's recent record is much better than Haye's. If I judged it solely based on overall career records then Haye would probably be above Khan, but I don't and since Haye has not been doing much recently, Khan has overtaken him.
Re: British Top 30 P4P May 2011
good list horse..as good as i could come up with for definite..in fact better bravo
Re: British Top 30 P4P May 2011
It depends on the nature of the win and what Khan and Froch do before then, but I think he is very likely to regain the top spot if he beats Wladimir.Finch wrote:I think the same about Froch.sendo wrote:I do not understand how Khan can be above Haye.

Barker was out for a year before beating Spada, so that went against him.Finch wrote:I'd have Barker above Macklin, but I'm sure you've got your reasons not to.

I think it is a good list and I definitely agree with having Khan ahead of Haye.
