Stephen McGuire

Any ideas what is happening to him, the Super Middleweight devision is looking pretty good at the moment, at world level and domestic title level and potentially a little below that. Be nice to see McGuire in the mix again.

There was a proposed show in in Glenrothes, Fife where Steve is from about a month ago. The promoter was Steve Maguire SNR. I thought he was going to top the bill there but he wasn't even on it. The show ended up getting pulled. My guess is, if he was going to come back that would have been the show to do it. Hope he does come back right enuff.

He seems more interested in going out drinking and being a doorman than being a boxer nowadays. He was supposed to be moving up to light heavy but you have to actually fight for moving up mean anything. Its a shame because he had a chance to reach at least british level.

That show was hilarious trying to charge £60 for a 3 fight dinner show in glenrothes. Business sense at its finest

Is that what it was? Stuart Green, Arron Mckelvy and I think it was David Cowan where the 3fights. Think it got pulled because 2 of the 3 pulled out.

That's his old man's business accumen coming through. He ain't the sharpest tool in the box, just a tool. A friend of mine saw Mcguire (jnr) in the Glenrothes Jobcentre a while back, he appeared to be there to sign on. He stomped into the reception area with two alsatians on leads like a king chav. What a Numpty!
