Re: Betting thread
Anyone with SKY HD and SKY sports can sign up for a SKY HD party and get a free 5L keg of heinekken, some snacks and a free £10 bet.
https://hdparty.sky.com/?DCMP=ILC-SkyCOM_hdparty
I think the bet is meant to be used on final but I was able to use it on anything on SKY bet and put it on Pacman UD. I think Mosley is tough and will not want to be stopped inside the distance. Plus Pacman looked almost hesitant to stop Margarito in his last fight, so I could see Mosley surviving.

Yeah, good value. I don't see Hopkins stopping Pascal. Hopkins hasn't stopped anyone for years and Pascal is durable, despite having poor stamina. Hopkins definitely has the mental edge. The thing I'd check is who is promoting it and where it is being held. It's likely to be a close decision again.Livingstone Cole wrote:Anyway, just seen that Bernard Hopkins is 13/10 for the Pascal rematch. Surely that's giving money away? I thought Hopkins won the first fight, he certainly won 7 out of the last 9 rounds.
Hopkins decision is 13/8 but I'd feel more comfortable just backing him to win.
Just about to stick a £50 on it.
Re: Betting thread
You can back him just to win at 6/4 with Boylesports which is what I've done.Livingstone Cole wrote:Yes.wesley05 wrote:U on drugs ?Livingstone Cole wrote:Just put £50 on a an accumulator - Klitschko, Frenkel, Abraham, Bute, Alvarez, Rigondeax, Klitscho.
I'll be shocked if they don't all win. It's a money doubler.

Re: Betting thread
I've gone for Arron on an accumulator with some football. Really liked the change in skills shown by Webb recently, but see the fight as a bit of a pick umChambers2 wrote:Anyone fancy Prince Arron to beat Sam Webb?? It looks a fight that's destined for scorecards and Arron's tall, awkward, good engine and he's on a decent run at the mo.
Webb, Sam 1/4
Draw 25/1
Arron, Prince 11/4
Webb, Sam Ko, Tko Or Dq 6/5
Webb, Sam Points 5/4
Draw 25/1
Arron, Prince Ko, Tko Or Dq 9/1
Arron, Prince Points 11/2
Wolves to beat Sunderland - Wolves struggle to hold a lead but Sunderland have no forwards. W are a confidence team and should be on a high after beating West Brom pretty comfortably
Man City to beat Stoke - After 4th place was confirmed, winning a trophy would make it a successful season for Citeh, they won't eff it up
Man United to beat Blackburn - For the title, of course they will
and Prince Arron to beat Sam Webb
Re: Betting thread
Its a short price....but Ward to beat Abraham by UD is 4/6 with Sky Bet.

Re: Betting thread
Ward to beat Abraham in rounds 7-12 is 6/1, some good value in that
Re: Betting thread
i think Webb Stops Arron maybe 8/10 rounds body shots
Re: Betting thread
I've had a couple of quid on the ref finally wising up to Ward's fouling and Abraham winning via disqualification at 100/1. Won't happen but what if....freddydoesdallas wrote:Ward to beat Abraham in rounds 7-12 is 6/1, some good value in that
Will check the odds for you Cardiff-Lad1...
Okay it was about 30/1 on Skybet

A goodlev fight bet to keep you interested throughout the Clev fight, skybet are offering 8/1 on Clev to get knocked down and thn get up and win
Re: Betting thread
It's in Canada again, but this time being promoted by Golden Boy. Zero canadian judges and officials. All the judges and the ref are from europe and asia. This has to favor Bernard, you would think. Shoudnt be any home cooking this time, especially with the public consensus that Hopkins got shafted in the first fight. I'm of the belief that that weighs on the minds of judges when there's a rematch of a controversial first fight.Asterix wrote:Yeah, good value. I don't see Hopkins stopping Pascal. Re: Betting thread
I've ahd quite a heavy punt on Hopkins just to win at 6/4 with Boylesports. Price still available. Like the previous poster, I see any close decision going Hopkins' way this time given the controversy of the last fight and I can't see Pascal winning it clearly.
Re: Betting thread
I remember thinking exactly the same in the Taylor rematch, therefore I'm not touching this with a bargepoleSteveDow wrote:I've ahd quite a heavy punt on Hopkins just to win at 6/4 with Boylesports. My old pa has gone for Johnson to stop Froch... I think its more in hope than calculation though.Livingstone Cole wrote:Froch to decision Johnson at 8/13. No one stops Johnson, he's one tough bastard.
Add a Sturm win over Macklin and it's 1.26/1. I'll stick the £60 I won on the Hopkins fight on it.

They're long odds for a decent reason!
I think it'll be a decent fight, hard for both men but they'll finish on their feet.
55- 45 fight for Froch. Johnson got a very decent chance.

Re: Betting thread
Just on oddschecker to see if anything sticks out and there are quite a few enticing prices on the underdog:
N'Dou is 14/1 to beat Brook. N'Dou isn't that shot and is still pretty durable and Brook hasn't really gone too deep into fights. Plus, there is always the chance of cuts
Antonio Tarver is 3/1 to beat Danny Green. I've not seen either in ages but Tarver must still be worth a bit at that price.

Re: Betting thread
Todays Canadian GP I'm on a Hamilton/Button dual forecast @ 28/1
Re: Betting thread
Brook has never been beyond 7 rounds, so that alone makes things a bit more interesting. It's unlikely that he'll KO N'dou, as no-one has managed to do that so far. I think, if you're going to bet on N'dou, it's either as a bit of fun or because you think Brook's stamina might be a bit suspect (but N'dou is unlikely to press the action). But I do think Brook should win a UD.freddydoesdallas wrote:Just on oddschecker to see if anything sticks out and there are quite a few enticing prices on the underdog:

Regarding Tarver vs Green. Danny Green looked fantastic against BJ Flores and Tarver hasn't looked good for a few years. I can't see how Tarver can win this. Green UD.

4/1 on Sturm to win by stoppage is too big imo.
Alonso for the European Grand Prix @ 9/2
Get on it like a car bonnet.

I've just gone for a double on Brook inside 12 & Sturm points. Doubles up to 3/1 so not too bad

Re: Betting thread
Just waiting on Nadal now to confirm a double with Djokovic then i think i'll try to boost my pot for tomorrow with a bet on Safutdinov to score more than 12 points for the Coventry bees in tonights speedway
Re: Betting thread
Frankie Gavin is 4/5 to KO/TKO/DQ Curtis Woodhouse with Boylesports. Massive class difference between the two fighters. I cannot see Curtis lasting 12 rounds with Frankie. The Brummie was reportedly ill in his last fight and received a bit of stick for not putting Mutley away so he will be out to silence any doubters. I'm hopping all over this one while the odds remain as they are.
