I've noticed this before on boxers records from previous prizefighter tournaments.

Coming off two wins after loosing in the final and not fighting since

Inserting tournament results in correct order is quite tricky, because Boxrec system disallows inserting boxers more than once on same date.
There is a way e.g. I inserted the following last night:-
http://boxrec.com/show_display.php?show_id=620606
Official results are yet to be received

So you have the bout ID numbers of the final lower than those of the semi-finals.

And you have the bout ID numbers of the semi-finals lower than those of the quarter-finals.

As a result the quarter-finals will be regarded to have happend later than the semi-finals.
And the final will be regarded to have happened later than the final.

Who cares about bout ID numbers? Viewing the card makes sense & boxers' record is in correct order e.g. Vaitele Soi http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_ ... &cat=boxer

That's not the problem - see ID numbers of Mike Perez's bouts which show up in the correct order, but the numbers do not correspond with that.

The correct bout ID number of bouts on the same day is an issue for correct ratings.

But you are right - there is no order at all in the show up for bouts on the same day.

It's more complex than that, bouts_ids are not a good method as some people sort ascending date and some descending :(

Because most people want to see the most important fights at the top of the list.

Don't the most important fights usually come last? Either way, order it descending on the display pages..
