Do you think the Bellew vs Mckenzie rematch will go past 5
Do you think the Bellew vs Mckenzie rematch will go past 5
Rounds? the first fight would of been a classic only for a bad call by the ref to stop the fight
Re: Do you think the Bellew vs Mckenzie rematch will go past 5
Bellew was well on his way to winning that fight though, if he boxes McKenzie from the start of the rematch like he did after being knocked down then he will win comfortably.

I still think Ovil can knock out Bomber, but conversely, Bomber can knock out Ovil. But surely Bomber will learn a few lessons and let Ovil empty his tank. Don't go trying to knock him out early. Then you should win.

aslong as bellew dont try & be a stylist & gets back to basics to stretch mckenzie who runs out of ideas & gas after 6.but either could end it anytime.

Is this on the Groves/Degale bill?

Pace will KILL McKenzie. No need to be brash. Then Bellew will spank him.Counter-puncher wrote:Dioufy wrote:I still think Ovil can knock out Bomber, but conversely, Bomber can knock out Ovil. If Bellew has learnt a defence then he wins easy. He has proved chinny so far though, so if McKenzie gets home with one of his bombs it could be his night. I predict Bellew to win though.

we will see if bellew has learned anything since the last fight (i hope he has) because if he hasn't he will get chinned as mckenzie aint no mug at light heavy, they are both punchers and i think this level is mckenzie's level if bellew wants to get to world level he needs to look good against boxers like mckenzie, for me bellew has all the tools to be a very good fighter but he dont hold the best of shots but with the right fights he could make waves in the division.

Bellew will win inside 5, Mckenzie's only chance of beating him was the last fight now he knows what hes about theres no way he will loose

McKenzie will have him in trouble again and go into sparring partner mode
Re: Do you think the Bellew vs Mckenzie rematch will go past 5
McKenzie had his chance and blew it - I doubt he'll have the same chance again, even if he does - I think he will blow it again. Sparring partner mode is dead right.
Sorry to say this Tony, obviously you weren't as badly hurt as I originally thought you were, but the way McKenzie "followed up" reminded RJJ vs Calzaghe. Okay, in both cases maybe Bellew and Calzaghe were not out on their feet, but both McKenzie and Jones should have at least been prepared to find out.
I can see Bellew break him up and win at around the 8th - job done, onwards and upwards.

Mckenzie will win by knockout! Last time Ovil took the fight on 3 and a half weeks notice. He trained to make the weight. This time he has had 10 weeks notice, so can have a proper training camp and sparring.

Maybe Enzo Mac will fight Bellew instead?
