New 24 hour boxing TV channel to launch in May

A new channel called Fightnow will provide 24 hours of Boxing and MMA, 7 days a week from May 26th.

It will be available through cable and Satellite companies in the US. Pretty sure its going to be available via the net.

Learn't about it through the Billy C Radio show - his show will appear on there.

Not sure as at this point its all abit sketchy. Will have to wait til the 17th for full details. I will post more if anything is announced on the Billy C radio show.

Billy just said that the internet stream of the live show will be via his site. So looks like us Brits will get to watch it.

Sky should do something like this, for a few small pounds every month on subscription and just rotate past fights throughout the day, have Ringside and maybe another few similar shows on there, show the build up programmes (Fight Camp 360 and 24/7 etc) and any subscribers get PPV included but non-subscribers can buy the PPV as usual. They get a constant stream throughout the year plus any casual buying PPV, and surely it won't cost them a penny to show re-runs of past fights and they've literally got thousands to show which most of would love to see!

I'm sure a lot of boxing fans subscribe to Sky Sports purely for boxing and nothing else so this would be nice for them, I personally watch a lot of football too and would keep both but I think it would be cool and well worth their while to do this.
