other than the two main fights the undercard is poor for a PPV show...

How many fights do we think will be part of the PPV broadcast? Remember, the last Sky PPV had just two fights, eight and a bit rounds of boxing.

Exactly. On Bunce's show last night, FW seemed pretty certain only that Sky would show the main three - anything else will be a bonus. Not saying that's right, but by Sky's recent standards that would be an improvement.

This is interesting. Is this prediction based on boxing alone, or are you bringing judges, home/away into the equation, if you know what I mean?Glyn Leach wrote:I seriously believe that Braehmer-Cleverly will be a draw - might even put some money on it

A bit of all that really. I'm expecting it to be close but think Braehmer's experience gives him the edge. Braehmer is an established champ from a decent camp, but Clev is a rising star from a powerful home camp. Dunno,
gut feeling. I've slung a few quid on at 28s anyway, for the hell of it. Stranger things have happened.

I notice that Gary (Spike) O'Sullivan is fight TBA but he is supposed to headline for the Irish title in Dublin the next month, curiouser and curiouser.

I am going up Thursday night young man and staying until Sunday.Cardiff-Lad1 wrote:great news! You still going up to the weigh in mate? Think it'll be a good atmosphere there and hopefully it won't be jam packed with fans as i got a few programmes i wanna get signed lol.taffytoon wrote:Brahmer is due in on Wednesday, I will let you know if he don't
I went up to the Birmingham weigh in for the Mag 7 show and everyone was so accessible its a bit surreal. Had my fight poster signed buy literally everyone including the likes of Murat, Frenkel and the guy who beat Hall. Can't for the life of me spell his name! ;)

goood show, not PPV worthy imo, 2 very good 50-50 fights, the rest you can quite easily pick a winner.
Portman and Hammond are decent enought tests for Cox (as he's returning from a long lay off) and BJ Saunders (as Hammond can bang so is dangerous) but theyre nowhere near worth PPV viewing)
Gavin Vs Mutley is interesting but cvertainly not worth main support on a big PPV bill to the 2 headline fights

The Ward-Abraham V.I.P ringside tickets are $200! Tickets start from $25. Why are they so expensive in this country?leforge wrote:I going got 200 quid tickets every warren show I been to there been pullouts in week off fight!Tommy Gunn13 wrote:Ive a feeling something will happen between now&fight night&it wont happen...leforge wrote:I waiting for braehmer illness next week!

That is ridiculously cheap, I think it's an anomaly though, they're usually a lot more expensive, especially for "bigger" fighters. Don't forget too that any big US fight will be PPV, usually around $50-60.mickey1975 wrote:The Ward-Abraham V.I.P ringside tickets are $200! Tickets start from $25. I won money on him. Just a quick look at his record showed he was decent and would have far too much for Hall.Counter-puncher wrote:Kocecny, i think it was. he really impressed meCardiff-Lad1 wrote:the guy who beat Hall. Can't for the life of me spell his name! ;)

There were still $25 tickets left for the Maidana-Morales, Katsidis-Guerrero card a couple of days before and don't think they sold out. They are a rip off in this country.orbtastic wrote:That is ridiculously cheap, I think it's an anomaly though, they're usually a lot more expensive, especially for "bigger" fighters. They are not usually more expensive, you are talking about just a few mega events involving a few fighters. This is on regular Showtime, too. There is a show tonight in my hometown of York in a sports centre, tickets start at £30. The lads are struggling to justify it to the paying public.Scottrf wrote:There were still $25 tickets left for the Maidana-Morales, Katsidis-Guerrero card a couple of days before and don't think they sold out.
