Can i just note to everybody that max has asked me to make a comment.

The report is accurate to what max said but the interveiw was done when max had just recieved news that the fight had just been knocked back for commonwealth elim status and max was at a low ebb.

Max didnt realise that behind the scenes a couple of midlands board guys Notably Dave Roden and Les Potts(probly get in trouble for naming them ) were realy fighting his cause as a midland boxer.

Subsequently when this fight got British Elim status Max had a lot thank them for and he felt very ungrateful to these guys when the interveiw came out.

Max just wants me to say on here that his comments were made before he knew people were trying to help get him forward and that he does appreciate there help in a big way.

I'm not changing the original piece because it was accurate at the time and it sounds like Martin did a cracking job.

If Martin wants to do a follow up or add a bit to the bottom for clarification, that's fine.

Yeh thats all i meant just a little add on at the end thats all a follow up would be much more than i expected i did note that it wasnt inaccurate just things change and didnt want people looking ungrateful since people reading wouldnt realise this was before the fight was granted eliminator staus.
