I'm scratching my head a little as to what he's done to earn it?

I'd give Hatton a good shot of winning a fight with M'baye.

I suppose he could at least be marketed as a "world champion", which is an appellation the average person probably won't question, no matter how appropriate it really is.

Who else would have been given an opportunity like this at his level? Lets get it right, Matthew has only got where he has because of who his brother is.......

All true, but I think Mbaye has also been very lucky in his career. Not sure how he earned a WBA interim title shot at Welter after losing a few times in succession at world level at Light welter.

I think stylewise its ideal for Hatton, you don't need power - just workrate. Get him over here, he doesn't like the UK generally
