I've looked already thanks, it's a nice piece. A bit of a tale of woe recently of course, but I think the thing to remember is you're only just turning 25 now, so time has hardly passed you by. Best of luck for the future.

There was some rumours that you had retired after the latest pull out, glad that is not the case.

Just remembering when Dodson stepped in for Brian Magee in 2002 when the Irishman's camp didn't feel "ready" to take on dangerous American Brian Barbosa. Not only did Tony famously win that night, but since Robin Reid knocked Magee about I think we know why they wanted no part of Barbosa.

"I told him that won't be a problem for me. I said you can lock me in a hotel room with my computers and some games, and that's my weekend right there! I can't handle a drink, so there's no need to go out. I'm gone after one pint!"

Sounds like me! Nice to see things are going ahead for you Tony. Best of luck

That's all well and good, but when are you gonna fight Carl Froch?

At Froch's own convenience I'd imagine, remember Froch has the belt these days, not Dodson.

Thats impossible for him to say. Tony has had a long layoff from boxing and will be looking to get back into things gradually and with Froch booked to fight Barney and fights over in the America to fulfil as part of the deal with Golden Boy promotions i dont see it happening soon. Its clear that they both have different agendas for now.

I've seen froch over here when he fought on oscar's card, and I like him I think he can make some noise at super middle...I think the plan for froch is to win his fight next week of course, then fight the winner of magee-tsypko..at least that's what I heard him lay out for his plan to be british then european, then hit the world title stage...It looks thats how it's shaking out for him anyways..Not sure why he would come stateside and fight when 3 of the 4 world titles are held by europeans, and who knows if reid wins all 4 would be held by euros but I doubt reid wins.. :TU:
