I'll believe this when the two of them are in the ring together. If this doesn't happen then the PPV must be cancelled. You cannot ask £15 for Groves v DeGale.

Would love it to come off though and if it does I'll be shouting Bomber on with a pair of pints in my hands.

Tough ask, Cleverly is a big favourite at this stage, but Bomber could shift him early if he lands. Great fight.

A much bigger risk is not having a f**king fight, I tell thee.
Ian, which way do you see this going? you may already have stated but today has been a long day and its all blurred into one, ever since it was announced the German had pulled out!
When Tony was asking if he should fight Cleverly on here, I think I was the only one who said he shouldn't.

Tony's a nice lad but I'd be very surprised if he's only a few pounds off the weight. Even if he'd had three months to be on it, I'd take Cleverly to beat him clearly.

The prospect of a potentially weight-drained, fragile novice (champion or not) going in against a genuine world class fighter whose had months to prepare doesn't enthuse me one bit.
Who has he beaten that's world class?

Nice to see some fighters dont just talk about fights they want.
Bob put him down, Ovill put him down Clev will stop him
Its the punch he took from ovil that makes me think clev cant ko him. Bellew hit the canvas like a brick with his eyes still open and got straight back up again, that was freakish!
agree mate it was a very heavy KD, i was sat in a good position to see Tony's eyes and there didn't seem to be anything wrong with them..

Thought Warren would have had a southpaw stand in just in case given Braehmers history of pulling out of fights.

I live Tony - he comes across really well on here and is developing excellently under Farnell but he shouldn't take this fight asits too much too soon, especially given that Cleverly has probably been training like a mad man for 8+ weeks.

Got to admire Tony's desire and belief in taking this fight at such short notice - what a way to prove to everyone that you will walk the walk when given the chance! The fans (myself included) will only love him for this attitude. And whilst I do respect him for taking this fight, I just wish he was a little further along in his career.

Good luck though Bomber!

He is not with Farnell any more. I wonder if Tony had one eye on this fight anyway as he was remarkably close to the weight so far out from a fight.

Cleverly dominated Karo Murat (who beat former WBA light heavy champ, Gabriel Campillo). You can argue either way whether that makes him World class or not, but I wouldn't get hung up on it.

Tony is very good but I only give him a punchers chance against Clev. Its too soon for him and I can only see one result.

nice fight. i've not been online since yesterday noon, and this am or last night, i thought...cleverly-bellew would be great, and convenient. i wondered if bellew would accept it, at this notice.

someone has probbaly said this already, but

joe calzaghe W12 eubank after champ collins can't fight

enzo maccarinelli W12 mark hobson after champ nelson can't fight

cleverly v bellew vacant title after braehmer can't or won't fight.

will cleverly join the ranks of welsh WBO world champs in recent history?

intriguing fight.
