Martin Rogan, shot or not?
Martin Rogan, shot or not?
What do you think lads? He was never world title material but a few years ago Martin Rogan was busting up decent level british and European champions. Id say that we have seen the best of Rogan and he let it all slip away by not putting Sexton away when he could in their first fight.
Injuries and Father Time have caught up with Martin judging from his recent fights.

Both? Not as good as he was, but a bit overated anyway.... struggled against Audley and Matt Skelton has looked in very poor form since.

Re: Martin Rogan, shot or not?
the guy was beaten by sexton twice...thats the yardstick so far
hes still top 5 until anyone else beats him
both he and sexton have a handfull of fights and are hugely under rated.
both beat Fury, Dallas, and maybe Price (if they connect)

1st loss to Sexton was pure bad luck, his sportsmanship cost him that one; he had Sexton out of it.funso banjo baby wrote:the guy was beaten by sexton twice.

this has been debated alot. having studied the footage a few times it was clear to me that Rogan just forgot what he was doing.
id be surprised if Fury's camp put him in with Rogan/ Sexton or Chisora at this stage...it would be a bad move.
Re: Martin Rogan, shot or not?
sexton and rogan both beat dallas with ease, sexton will be a good match for both fury and price.

He's waited to long since his last fight IMO, he probably has his reasons but professionally not great for his career
