Bellew OUT of Clev fight - Aleksy Kuziemski IN

Post by whiskey »

19.05.11

Nathan Cleverly WILL NOT fight Tony Bellew it has be announced on Sky sports.

Aleksy Kuziemski (21-2, 5ko) will be the new opponent for tomorrows PPV event at the 02 arena.

Kuziemski, from Poland, was last in action in April against Arturs Kulikauskis (7-7-1) and is unlikely to provide much in the way of resistance to the Welshman.

Ironically one of the Pole's two defeats, comes by way of KO to Juergen Braehmer, when he challenged for the WBO title in 2009.

The pole is average and brought in as cannon foddr for Nathan. Not his fault.

SKY want a title or no PPV. Thats why Tony's offer of catchweight got kicked into touch.

Also I am sure Tony saiud he had passed the check weigh in.

Absolute rubbish. Do you actually know anything about Tony???

He doesn't mouth off about nothing. He thought he got the shot.

Getting a little tired or you utter, utter bias views on Nathan. Alot of ppl like him, as it is, but ppl like you start to put ppl off.

Chill out and relax.

Absolute bloody shambles this is. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if this was all set up to get Bellew more publicity and to get people to shell out for PPV. Why on earth didn't they do the press conference after the check weigh in?? Complete joke!

people are losing the plot a bit here...we dont even know the full facts yet...

the only ones culpable are whoever nixed the catchweight (unless clev didnt want it..thats fair enough) and the german for bottling it in the first place.

Yep, that could be an issue.

ZERO interest in this bum.

I watched the fight with Braehmer live and he sucked. I put that video on youtube of him getting smashed.

Warren talks about Aleksy and the problems making the fight.

Says it was 10lb+ difference between Clev and Bellew.

There is nothing appealing about a fight with Kuziemski. The Polish boxer has no name recognition, no power, and no chance of winning. After getting thrashed by Braehmer, Kuuziemski was stopped in 6 by a fellow Braehmer victim, Dmitry Sukhotsky. The bout is even more unappealing considering that Clev was handed the belt and will not be fighting to become the world champ.

This has really all turned to shit.
