Tough opponent for Francis Barrett

Post by stujones »

Looks like a tough assignment for Francis Barrett as he takes on former Witter victim (in a European title challenge) Salvatore Battiglia. This bout is on the Froch and Witter show early next month.

Good opponent for Barrett, a tough fight to call. Although Battiglia might start as the slight favourite.

Barrett may as well retire I saw him in Dublin get a really dodgy draw decision against a Ukrainian who handled him with ease
Battiglia should beat him handily

dont think francis barrett boxes on hennessy shows anymore . he boxed a few weeks ago in leicester square and suffered a cut, so the fight wont be happening.

He is not on the Hennessy Site as fighting on the 9th, he is currently suspended for 28 day due to a cut anyway so won't be boxing even if he hadn't of left Hennessy Sports.

There are three cards on the UK schedules on here that are not taking place, so believe Ian..
