if you listen to it cleverley invites bellew to go outside & sort it & then he jumped up.

tbh i dont know what the point in tonys question was??? anyone bordering world title level would jump at the chance especially if in training for a bout.

today i thought bellew came across as a thug and someone that isn't to bright, boxing is a sport of gentlemen and to be a good fighter you need to have a good brain bellew didn't show that today, i think that the way he acted the board should fine him. what would happen if he did land a punch to clev and clev ended up in hospital, for me bellew needs to calm down because if he ever gets that fight with clev and gets sparked (which could happen) he's gonna look a right d^*k,
if he acted like that on the street he'll end up in a lot of trouble and trust me i know about what happends to boxers fighting on the street.

Clev offered Tony out and he responded. They were both at it and hardly crossed the line. It's not like it never happens.

If Clev was the challenger then of course he would have taken it, I don't think Bellew would DEFEND a world title with 48 hours notice. There's little mention of Clev's balls to take a title defence this late.

I think Bellew is an intelligent and classy bloke. He def came across as a street thug today, but he was in fighting mindset and was trying to get underneath Clevs skin.
He prob knew he didn't have 12 rounds in him and wanted to draw the Welshman into a shootout. Boxing is a mind game and I think the Scouser knew what he was doing.
Clev didn't look phased though and looked to be relishing the fight.
The needle should be kept up though because these two are sure to fight down the line and it will sell the fight well

You really don't like Bomber do you!

A lot can happen in boxing, but certainly the chances favor Tony in the rematch. He took Ovill's best shots and still came through in the first fight. Bad stoppage, sure, but Bomber was clearly starting to take over and had probably won 4 of the last 5 rounds.

Sorry for being cynical but Haye and Harrison hated each other = PPV.

Degale and Groves hate each other = PPV.

Haye and Klitscho hate each other = PPV.

Cleverly and Bellew hate each other = future PPV.

Is this the way PPV boxing in britain is going to go? I am going to start watching WWE Wrestling again.

It's not like it never happens = it shouldn't happen should it, they are professional sportsmen. i know clev offered tony out but the way he reacted he just mugged himself off :shame:

How did he mug himself off? Everyone bar Taff had a laugh when watching it early yesterday.

For wanting the board to fine Bomber, you must be trying to get an subtle dig in at Tony.

@apophenic yes i was there mate, what i didn't like was the way tony jumped up and went for clev when in fact he should of been thanking clev for the chance to fight for the title, i agree they were both to blame but it's not the first time tony has done that sort of thing, i make no secret that im a clev fan and if he boxed tony i'd want him to win, that dont mean that i dont like tony as a boxer, for me tony will never dominate at world level but imo i think clev will, i'd also like tony to put his side of the story across on why he thought he needed to walk in all guns blazing at a press confrerence ???

The rivalry didn't start at the presser, it's been going on for ages. Why on earth would he walk in friendly with Clev when there is a lot of previous??

Get with it mate.

   Tony did a great job on that cold winters night mate, shame he has let himself down really by acting like a thug, he also once told Harri Miles to stop trying to make a career off the back of his name, Oh the Irony :TU:

FYI Wayne fell off a roof and injured his back, he still said though that Tonys body punch on that cold evening was harder than the fall
