In one heated exchange yesterday, Bellew became an internet sensation and had numerous social networking sites buzzing his name. He's an equal player in this rivalry and it's become a fight that everyone wants to see.

"thug"?????? Nathan made the first threat by suggesting him and Bellew go outside, his actions brought an offensive reaction from Bellew so you need to look a little closer to home if you want to start handing out such unfounded insults.

Answer to your question -
Yes
Internet sensation
Equal player? No, nowhere near the same level and boxing is all about levels.
Nathan was asked a question and answered it honestly, Brahemer is a much better boxer and hits harder than Tony and once again Tony starts talking nonsense all over Cleverly whilst he is answering a question posed to him. He then goes on to say he is going to put Nathan in an ambulance  What was he going to do, wait outside and run him over?

Unfounded insults  Again the irony is wasted on you

Since when has Cleverley being a world class boxer been undisputed fact? I take it it is since he beat Murat. That performance showed Nathan has a lot to learn imo. Pascal, Dawson, Cloud and Hopkins are the top boys in this division, that is beyond doubt. If the Bellew fight happens under normal circumstances, i would make Nathan a favourite, but no more than i make DeGale over Groves. Tony is getting a lot of stick after the McKenzie fight but the guy can crack. He put Terry Dunstan down on his way to winning the Cruiserweight Prizefighter. I have nothing against Nathan but feel i must have missed something. The last time i saw him he was crap against a limited fighter.

He says he'll put him in an ambulance after Clev said he'd give him a free shot on his chin.

I'm not pointing any blame here because I don't think anything was out of order, but to say Bomber was the sole entity in the 'perceived' thuggery, is ludicrous.

No fire without fuel I agree, but it started when Tony said he hit harder than the German, Clev was pointing out he doesn't.

I now refuse to give any more replies on TB as it is getting silly, the English will be happy because as usual you lot can have your say and HATE any other input. Enjoy the glory boys but this "Boyyo" "sheep shagger" and many other PM insults has had enough of the "Fans"

Have a great rest of forum time

Tony the bet is still on if you want it, send me a PM (You know I am good for the money should you win :DD ) But I have had it with the forum.

Hmmm, ironic to the last.

This guy started a new account with the name FatFly and made a deliberate derogatory post about Bellow at 6am in the morning :o Or the Orvil McKenzie thread, solely done to flame Tony, again.

And now he gets offended, well excuse fvcking me. People like this, who can dish it out but cant take need to either step up or piss off imo.

Looks like he has down the latter, which is not a bad thing.

if he acted like that on the street he'll end up in a lot of trouble and trust me i know about what happends to boxers fighting on the street.
Put your tampon in ye' divvy.

Clev offered Tony out and he responded. They were both at it and hardly crossed the line. It's not like it never happens.
Mate this is boxing, not a knitting circle. They are fighters, fighters fight, fighters get aggressive, it's in the nature of a boxer.

This doesn't bring boxing into disrepute in my opinion, it's what people expect to happen from time to time.

It's not like it never happens = it shouldn't happen should it, they are professional sportsmen. i know clev offered tony out but the way he reacted he just mugged himself off :shame:

Seeming as this is a direct insult to me I will reply, You sir as a LIER I am POSSITIVE that the site admin can confirm I am NOT FatFly If I have anything to say I will say it as myself to your face as I have proved time and time again. You are a FOOL and have shown your true colours as an idiotic lier.

I thought you stopped posting?

Regardless you have been posting like a loon on this subject and then at the peak of your frustrations, you create an Orvil McKenzie thread. Designed, with no other intention other than to wind up Tony and his fans. I wouldn't mind but I am not even a scouser or from that part of the world.

I just see a guy acting like a complete tool, getting irate, stupid and ridiculus with his posts and threads with no other intention other than to wind people up.

Either shut up or learn to accept that people can actually have a different view point to you. You don't need to resort to the 'Clev will spark him..', 'Tony is getting KTFO...'etc crap. You did and it was disrespectful.

Taffy, are you joking when you say Nathan is on another level? What level is that??????

He falls considerably short of the elite names at 175lb and his best performance was against Karo Murat.

I suppose wins over Courtney Fry and Billy Boyle have put him on this cherished level you constantly refer to????

You'll never get me aiming insults at you, your an intelligent poster who knows the sport well but i think your well off the mark with some of your observations regarding Bellew/Cleverly

I will stop posting but I will not have someone like you question my integrity, and for the record I am originaly from the North East so the Welsh jokes really are wasted on me. You are once again incorrect regarding the Ovill post, I said in the past I thought he could beat Tony and I still do. This forum has a pack mentality and you are one of the pack, I will always defend my corner and it is usually alone. I will state again, you are a LIER and have shown your true colours :shame: I hope the site admin will concure that you statement is a blatent lie and I have never posted anything on this forum as anyone other than Tafftoon. This then will demure any future posts you make as factual as everyone will know you are a Lier.

This seriously is the last post I will make on this forum but will stay polite

To the rest of you, I have enjoyed the banter, a difference of opinion is always good. A lot of what I have written was typed tongue in cheek as an awful lot of you know.

For the record I do have a lot of respect for Tony Bellew but I truely beleive he has reached his level, if he did fight Nathan Cleverly this Saturday at light heavyweight he would have been hurt "In my opinion".

To come into a fight after losing nearly 2 stone was dangerous especially if you saw the condition Clev was in at the weigh-in. The fight may happen further down the line and if Tony does beat Clev I will openly bow down to him, lets hope the rest of you do the same if he loses.

Good luck in the future

I am not a liar mate. I just voice my opinion as it is. If you agree fine, if you don't, fine.

You acted like a prick, so trying to deflect it onto me and make yourself look good doesn't wash. For the record I wouldn't PM you with insults, if your acting like a cock, I will say that, out in the open.

Some posters, who know me, know that if I get something wrong I will say so or apologise. You don't deserve either, imo, as you were bang out of order and if Tony B wasn't such a gent, the next time he saw you he should really twat you for all the crap you posted about him, not make a bet, seriously.

Integrity, yeah ok mate, whatever. This is an internet forum, act reasonable and ppl will react in kind.

Well Bellew is Commonwealth champ so presumably Commonwealth 'level'. Nathan prooved with his win over Murat he is European but not sure what the few levels are in between. We are not casuals on here, we are all aware Nathan's about as much a genuine World champion as Bellew is at the moment. Or likely to be...
