Haye fight in Hamburg - planes, trains and autobhans

Post by Crazyboy »

All the hotels are full (And/or stupidly over priced) in Hamburg, but thinking of getting one in berlin and getting the late train back from hamburg after the fight.

Anyone have a rough idea worst case it might all finish on the night so i can check train times etc and book one?

Hope you can help gonna be a cracker :TU:

I'd imagine the fight would be over by about 11.30pm at the latest. Surely you'd be better just staying out in Hamburg all night drinking rather than hopping straight on a train to Berlin etc. The overall cost would be the same and I'd imagine there would be places open very late that night/morning.

If it helps, I got my ticket yesterday which states a start time of 20:00. So I think it'll be a late night!

X2

Get a private room if you don't want John Candy using your arse for pillows.

There are several options available to you here, none of which should be the "Last Train to Berlin" This would just be a waste of valuable wreckage time.

Option 1)
Booze heavily and ingest copious amounts of class A`s in an attempt to stay awake all night at one of the numerous close at 6 a.m nightclubs.

Option 2)
Do aforementioned copious amounts of class A`s and go to a high quality brothel, for a rooting frenzy. It might be pricey, but you should be able to make the hours tick by, whilst hammering out a happy ending.

Option 3)
Hobo Edge. By far the most preferable and also a bit of a challenge. You basically back yourself to pull a local bird and sleep at her place. Knowing you have to pull by the end of the night will add an extra spice to the occassion. The longer the night goes on without securing that bed, the more desperate you become and your standards get lower and lower.
Worst case scenario being that you haven`t pulled by about 5 am and you are forced to shuffle to a kebab shop and pick up any monster that might be hanging about. If it works, it`s free. No point paying for an overpriced hotel when there are thousands of beds knocking about for free.
