Sky said on build up only a crowd of 10000 that nots good. Also is Cleverly on last if so there be an empty arena apart from few Welsh supporters!

I've never understood how people would buy a fairly expensive ticket and not watch all the fights, let alone miss the main event!

For years, I have said the same thing. But to be honest, I'm chaning my tune. There are 14 fights on this bill. (Why, who needs to see 14 fights?)

Groves V De Gale and the Cleverly fight are the main ones, obviously, with Frankie Gavin's fight looking very interesting too.

But then, there are 11 more- a mix of comeback fights and new fighter/prospect v journeyman bouts.

Lets be honest, other than freinds/personal fans of the boxer, and the literal dozen or so "hardcore" fans , who else really is interested in watching the undercard?

If they had on genuine well matched, competative bouts like eg prizefighter, then that might encourage more people to watch. But lets be honest, for many people these sort of fights are just not of interest to watch.

All ends up its a pretty shocking card. Yes there's 14 fights but the only one remotely competitive is Groves v DeGale and Degale is a 2/9 shot with Ladbrokes, so its not really 50:50. This is probably the worst card I've seen for the combined one-sidedness of the fights. But Warren continues to get away with it for some reason. His recent shows have been pretty pathetic. And he can't blame the weakness of the entire card on the pull out of a flaky German - surely a promoters job is to prepare for such eventualities?
