He definitely was. Even had Clev hurt with a left hook.

Cleverley is going to get KTFO with the first world class puncher he faces, Ishmael Sillakh would knock him out inside 3 rounds.

STOPPED.....what a FARCE AND THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A NO CONTEST.

Kuz had a decent chance of pulling off an upset too if Cleverley started to get tired later in the fight.

Was enjoying that fight, refs ruining boxing at the mo for me. Would have liked to see that fight go at least a few more rounds.

He gets hit far too easy. His Dad's reaction to the wobble was pretty poor IMO. Allegedly should have a strong word with Clev about getting an experienced trainer. There's plenty of work to do.

FOr this anyone lucky enough not to be watching SKY and getting a stream, according to Ian Darke Celeverly looked 'electric' up until the stoppage.

Erm no he didn't Darkie....

He was hurt by a shot from a non-puncher who was still in the fight when the Allegedly-sponsored ref stopped the fight prematurely.

Cleverly is way too flat footed and too available to be hit. Against a Tavoris Cloud, Glen-Johnson type he gets decapitated, and dont even bring up Pascal, Dawson, Hopkins.

bullshit stoppage but keeps my double alive

Need a degale 1-6 for main bet but had a side bet of Groves tko/ko at 5/1 (rude not to at those odds) so I'm hopy fr something to happen.

Cue a 7th round stoppage for Degale

The pole came to fight and looked dangerous, frankie can't be having that so the ref stops the fight without even consulting the doctor first, what a fuckin joke.

That's why I don't buy PPVs anymore. It wasn't worth the money imo. So I'm glad I stuck to my guns and didn't buy it. Right decision made!

Cleverley looked like shit, again!

He is a highlight reel ko waiting to happen. Such a poor defense for a 'world champion'

I would give him a decent chance against Cloud. Dawson would be a really bad stylistic fight for him IMO.

Its appalling really that ref was looking for a reason to stop the fight from half way through the second round, this game of ours is making me sick to my stomach at times
its happening far to often, ok he was not going to win but the man was in there giving it everything and deserves better treatment.

Totally agree- I'm going to make a thread next time they try this and set up a oxfam or cafod paypal account- u either give the money to sky and the promoters or you donate to a real worthy cause and I'll send you a top link

He's not even the best young Light heavy as that's Ismael Silakh.

He's going to get knocked out ENZO MACC style when he faces a world class puncher which won't happen whilst he's with Warren and the shite that he can fight on the WBO top 15 list.

I definitely overrated Clev and my opinion of him has dropped over his last two fights. His last two opponents have been Euro level and he struggled big time with both of them. Maybe we saw tonight why he hasn't been put in with a top puncher?
