It wasn't a great fight, but I'm double pleased for Groves and Hayemaker. A lot of people thought they were barmy for taking this fight.

Absolutely.

Groves absolutely clowned with him at times. Great defensive display and discipline by Groves.

I thought the cut hindered Groves at the end a bit, it was running into his eye, and he couldn't see but that still didn't discourage him. I think Groves would have won the last two decisively if it wasn't for the cut.

I'm made up for Groves, but you're right, that was nerve jangling to watch for every one of the 12 rounds. No clowning at all, unless you're counting the crimson on Groves face.

I'm betting Groves is on cloud 9 right now because those looked to be 12 very harrowing rounds, he couldn't slack off for a second.
