Let's not get carried away

Post by Bennyblanco »

Yes degale did lose the fight but it could of quite easily gone the other way and it does warrant a rematch, if the decision went to degale I would be saying the same.

Some how I don't think groves will go for the rematch.

I wonder if this will be the making of degale, and make him realise that he's not so indestructible.

Fair play to groves though great tactics but I still thought degale nicked it

I had Degale winning as well, 7-5. It seems most people on the RBR thread either had it a draw or a Degale win.

People are definitely a bit excited right now. I've seen people calling for Groves-Abraham and people saying that Degale's career is over.

I hade degale winning comfortably but he only has himselsef to blame

I thought his defence was fanatstic. Didnt take a solid head shot all night. He just didn't have enough devil about him.

You always get that on forums. I don't think this result means DeGale won't go further. I thought before the fight that it would be a good fight for both as the winner would learn the necessary lesson that plan A won't always work, and likewise the loser would learn that lesson the hard way.

Both guys will crack on now and both have succesful careers. Who goes further, we will find out in the end.
