Old Boxing Gyms

In 1939 I worked out in Beecher's Gym, located in the East New York section of Brooklyn. It was one flight up (same as Stillman's), however behind a pool room owned by Charlie and Willie Beecher, old time boxers. Training from time to time were boxers Al "Bummy" Davis, Charlie Gomer, Izzy Janazzo, and Tommy Spiegel. I was 15 at the time and after going two rounds with Gomer I had enough of this game. Would like to hear from anyone who recalls this gym.
