Les Sherington EMBARRASING loss

Post by chuck9788 »

Pretty surprised and disappointed in Les Sherington (27-6, 15 KO's). The Queensland fighter got knocked out yesterday in the 1'st round against low level opponent Kashik Mumtaz who had lost 17 of his last 19 fights coming in. For Sherington, a guy that had just recently defeated Shannon Taylor, Rubin Williams and Nader Hamden this loss is totally unacceptable. Cheers from Las Vegas....

The referee stopped the fight because Sherrington was unable to continue due to an ankle injury.

The ankle injury resulted after Mumtaz dropped Sherington hard.

I've been saying for years........hmmmmm suspect.

And Williams was a shell, as was Taylor and Hamden.

The bloke i feel sorry most for is Jnr Taliepai, he was set for a big payday after he would have beaten Sherington.
